Volunteer Opportunities
ArtsErie relies on the help of volunteers from the community to provide office assistance and occasional help in the office, at grant hearings and other events. Students, professionals, retirees and anyone who would like to support the arts, learn about local arts programs and get involved is welcome!
Office tasks vary and can be based upon a volunteer’s skills and interests. In most cases, volunteers are needed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
For information or to inquire about current volunteer needs, please contact Char Mashyna at char@artserie.org. Please try to include information about your skills, areas of interest, volunteering needs (i.e. if required as service hours for a school project) and availability.
Volunteer Activities may include:
- Answer telephone
- Data entry
- Prepare mailings
- Prepare handbooks
- Assist with grant panel hearings
- Solicitation via phone for in-kind donations
- Assist with the ArtsErie United Fund
- Weekly updates to EnjoyErie.com
- Research (grant opportunities, historical information, etc.)
- Serving on a committee
- Helping to plan a special event or fundraiser
