Our Mission
The Arts Council nurtures the arts and enriches the lives of everyone in Northwest Pennsylvania through leadership, financial support, education and advocacy.
Our Vision
The Arts Council of Erie is the source for inspiration in northwest Pennsylvania. We envision a community where each person has access to the arts. These aren’t just words, but a vision worth realizing to enrich the lives of our citizens in the communities we serve.
We encourage people to discover the arts, in all its forms, and to develop their own creative talents. Through arts education we nurture experiences which help young people gain a deeper understanding and vision of themselves and their society. We inspire and support creative expression through our multi-disciplined artists and art organizations to encourage our citizens to participate in the richly diverse and fulfilling experiences they provide. We are organized around this vital human need and are energized and focused on providing comprehensive arts experiences for all people.
The arts, the source for inspiration.
