ArtsErie helps the region thrive by serving as an advocate for the arts with area legislators, funders and centers of influence. In doing so, ArtsErie raises awareness of the quantity, diversity and of the quality of the arts in our community. Recently, ArtsErie has been working to spread the word to our audience about the perilous state of arts funding in Pennsylvania.
Start the New Year out right...
Resolve to take 5 minutes out of your day to send an e-mail to Governor Rendell to ask him to include state funding for arts grants in his FY 2010-11 state budget. Citizens for the Arts in PA has made it easy for you by creating a template for your use on their Legislative Action Center site.
