Arts in Education program

The Arts in Education program, a partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), was developed in 1995 to strengthen arts education initiatives on a regional level. 

The Arts in Education Program is now available in 63 counties throughout Pennsylvania and has helped foster strong community relationships by meeting the needs of the local regions. 

ArtsErie is pleased to implement and oversee the Arts in Education Program in the following 11 Northwestern PA counties:

  • Crawford
  • Elk
  • Erie
  • Forest
  • Lawrence
  • McKean
  • Mercer
  • Potter
  • Venango
  • Warren

ArtsErie’s Arts in Education program also offers other benefits:

  • Professional development opportunities are available to artists, educators, administrators and community leaders.
  • Special community projects and residencies are planned, funded and implemented through the program.
  • Arts Education fund development is ongoing to assist with projects and programs through additional grants. Businesses may also be eligible for the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). Please click here for more information.
