Funding
Each year ArtsErie distributes thousands of dollars in grants to artists and member organizations throughout the region. For example, in our 2009-2010 fiscal year, ArtsErie distributed over $400,000 in grants.
These grants take the form of ArtsErie grants, which are made possible through the Erie Arts Endowment and the ArtsErie United Fund, as well as grants from a state program known as the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA). Eligibility and application requirements vary. Each year, ArtsErie provides free workshops to our members to educate them about funding opportunities and to answer questions about the process. In 2012 workshops will be held throughout our service area to explain the PPA grant process.
