Each year Erie Arts & Culture distributes thousands of dollars in grants to artists and organizations throughout the region.

These grants take the form of Erie Arts & Culture  project grants, which are made possible through the Erie Arts Endowment and the Combined Arts & Culture Campaign, as well as grants from a state program known as the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA). Eligibility and application requirements vary. Each year, Erie Arts & Culture provides free workshops to educate potential applicants about funding opportunities and to answer questions about the process.

Erie Arts & Culture Grants

APPLICATION OPEN (Beginning September 1, 2015)

DUE: Friday, October 23, 2015 by 4 pm

Project grants are designed to provide up to $5,000 in financial support to a variety of arts activities to help strengthen the vibrancy and vitality of the Erie Region and enrich the lives of our residents through arts and culture. PPA Project Stream Grants


DUE: June 2016 by 4:30 p.m.

NOTE: Application must be submitted electronically to eGRANT by 4:30 p.m. Print copies of the submitted application then must be delivered to Erie Arts & Culture by 4:30 p.m. on 6/22 or postmarked by 6/20. Individual artists, groups and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for up to $2,500.

Eligible Applicants: Arts organizations and arts programs with an established history of PCA support.
